True Crime? What does it really mean?

Family

This movie was way to long and lost my interest very easily. I also got very mad at the amount of mistakes that the police kept making that would have made this case a lot easier to solve if they did what they should have in the first place. The girls who were part of the “Mansion Family” were so brain washed it was scary. It reminded me of so many colts and groups that people follow and hear about today. I also felt bad for that on lady who had to sit and listen to the one girl tell about all the killing in the jail. It was so creepy and all the woman wanted to do was turn her in but she didn’t know how to without getting in trouble. I still can’t get over the girls who think how perfect he was and how he couldn’t do anything wrong and how he was “god and the devil”. I did find it interesting though how they tied in the reference to the Beatles. That was an interesting was to say someone told you to do it. I’ve never been told a musical group told me to do anything.

I agree about the movie being too long. I felt that some of the scenes could have been shortened or just not added. The bran washing scared me more than some of the other things we have read because Manson had so much power over these people that they did what ever he told them without a second thought.

I was also frightened by how brainwashed these followers were. I can’t understand how one man can make a group of people do such horrible things.
